From a sentimental lady A fading scent And a fading smile They once described beautiful Memories of a dear friend One day it once rained It was the beautifulest Parade You once closed your eyes And traced a canvas He's as you left him Your lover's eyes To a fading face To a fading smile Open your eyes! You can't daydream forever Just look, and don't regret As your cats come And cuddle you the warmest way Just remember...tomorrow is another day Your journal is over there And your lamp light is on low There is hot tea in your cup Take a deep breath Before you take a sip Close your eyes And always remember That the moon light will Shine on your face tomorrow No one has been here No one has gone
