I watched a rich man rise and feed on his greed taking more than he would need but in the end just lose it all and stand on his own alone I seen a poor man fall and through his palms bleed working himself to the bone just trying to make ends meet picking himself back up on his feet I watched a rich man hide buried behind his pride with blood falling from his eyes and say not to have nothing here he would have much rather have died I saw a poor man stand tall dry away his every tear said it was better to have tried than to just give up on everything tomorrow surely a better day will bring and Heaven's grace will fall on this home Spiritwind ©2013

Rich Man, Poor Man
