I'd risen early in disarray, I'd now realised in the cold light of day. That kiss, that touch, 'I wish I could pray!', I feel my life falling into decay. No sweet words were spoken in our final farewell, I bet you were thinking... 'Go to hell!'. An errant word spoken out of text, 'I loved you deeply', It's like walking on egg-shells. But my loving gaze will reach you no more, because this is the final time I pass through your door. It's a fond farewell I'm wishing on you, our relationship is over, no please or thank you.

Final Farewell
I'd risen early in disarray, I'd now realised in the cold light of day. That kiss, that touch, 'I wish I could pray!', I feel my life falling into decay. No sweet words were spoken in our final farewell, I bet you were thinking... 'Go to hell!'. An errant word spoken out of text, 'I loved you deeply', It's like walking on egg-shells. But my loving gaze will reach you no more, because this is the final time I pass through your door. It's a fond farewell I'm wishing on you, our relationship is over, no please or thank you.
