By: Cedric McClester We’ve become a nation That refuses to think They pass us poisoned Kool Aid And we can’t wait to drink We’re gullible enough To go for the hoodwink If there’s a ***** in our armor It’s that we’re missing a vital link Promise them anything But they’re gonna get Arpege Just like that old Perfume commercial says We’ve been sold a dream By those running for prez Tell me who out there Right now could use a Pez No one ever asks How are they gonna deliver Before they buy that bridge Over the Hudson River Some say they’re flexible Do they mean Indian giver Or maybe they just suffer from Cirrhosis of the liver Have we become so desperate That we’ll go for anything No matter what concoction Snake oil salesmen bring One wants to be the president The other probably king But we’ll know bye and bye Once the fat lady gets to sing Cedric McClester, Copyright © 2016.  All rights reserved.
