Believe me when I say I love you I tell you it hurts I shout my anger I confess my sins I pinch my skin I hold my breath I defend myself I shed salty tears I whisper dark secrets I hear demons calling I look you in the eye I show my passion I clench my fists I scream your name I speak of death I voice my fear I lip desperation I imagine my death I plead for help I pull at my clothes I fall to the floor I am bound and gagged Believe me because I am telling the truth
