*we're having a referendum in britain to leave the E.U.,
although we didn't join it economically in the full
sense of the words sterling & euro...
so we got our paddles out, and started doing
the blair poodle dance rowing to the east coast
of america, dover-to-calais distance from maine,
and while paddling past iceland bemused.*
i find it unbelievable
that singled out people
in western democracies
always consider themselves
speaking like a consensus
rather than as a veto,
as if they're always backed
up by an alignment of
many shared interests
provided by the vote
(the sly one anonymously
done in a ***** donors'
booth).
