it's mostly the silence that gets to me
i like having someone to tell all the funny little things that i think of
during the day
my phone is very quiet without you
no musical little bleeps or blinking lights
but i can take the silence this time around.
and for that i like it
even relish it
the long gaps between my replies to you
if i reply at all

it is nice
but it is also frightening
