Outside of Apartment 45 i wandered thru the beautiful landscape. I found a notebook with only one page. Inside I found some writing: A flower rose all alone in the world, where a spotlight cast on a stretch of green grass. Some say it was afraid, but flowers must rise and leaves must fall. Bumble bees fight bears in the wooden city, and ghosts have to struggle just to haunt these halls. If these walls could talk they'd be silent from the bitterness, but the moon can talk all night before the day breaks. Break beats echo and delay your heartbeat, there is no time and we are ageless once again. The sun is pleasant but sometimes has a temper, "You wouldn't like me when I'm mad, ill burn you up just to feed these flames" it said with a smile. The flower worked hard to stay afloat in the city, people walk dangerously. Boyfriends are murderers who **** for their lovers. Water came plenty, and sunshine burned bright, but the night brought kids who rolled boards with four wheels. They stray from the sidewalk and fall on the grass. They spit on the ground and throw burning sticks filled with tobacco. Twice a month, men came to eat up the grass, and take the weeds away. The last time i checked, the flower was there, but now who knows...i myself am gone.
