~ *I watched her skipping stones, creating ripples gently caressing the distant shoreline of my heart ~ As they washed over me in glistening poetic motions, I felt something touch me deeply ~ It was love in tiny waves, circular patterns reaching out then melting away upon the warm sand ~ And in that moment I knew that even though the ripples may disappear in my heart, she never would*
