I envy The warm cup of tea That gets to kiss your lips awake At the peak of each sunrise I envy The sun's expression That is the light of your smile At the mid of each day I envy Your favorite sweater That wraps its warm arms around you At the crisp, opaque measure of each night I envy The comforting blanket That holds you in itself for your security At the deadline of each moon I envy The lucky little things That get to witness everything you are Every single diurnal course
