The room is dark
I hear nothing
But the sound of my own breathing

The light of the candle
Flickering with each breath
Shows me a shadow
My shadow?

The shadow on the wall is not my own
The room is dark
I can't see my hands
I think to myself is that my shadow or am I the shadow?
Oh black winged creature why do you haunt me.
