She's a clockwork misery, Cogs turning, cranking, Spilling tears over the edge, Skin flaking along makeshift seems. Bitter words bubbling to her lips, Drowning in the after thoughts. Clawing her way to the surface, Only to be stalled by the stones. Her body aches and shudders, Breathing ragged, cheeks soaked, ***** smears where the make up ran, Eyes shining like sun lit glass. Tangible sorrow, So sweet and thick, Like honey in her throat, Choking on the taste of her misery, Until even her thoughts grow dim.
