The frown in my smile, The dead eyes in my heart so alive. They were him. They were him. The spaces between now and then, Where I knew all in between, Where he knew more than I did. Aiming at targets, That didn’t deserve to be hit. I couldn’t even see. He did. In my heart are the skies, In his belief are the stars. We hit. We hit the ground so hard. There’s a better part of hunger in me. I begin negotiations with him. We fall apart. I fall apart.

My alter ego
The frown in my smile, The dead eyes in my heart so alive. They were him. They were him. The spaces between now and then, Where I knew all in between, Where he knew more than I did. Aiming at targets, That didn’t deserve to be hit. I couldn’t even see. He did. In my heart are the skies, In his belief are the stars. We hit. We hit the ground so hard. There’s a better part of hunger in me. I begin negotiations with him. We fall apart. I fall apart.
