They flash as I drive aimlessly at night
They flash behind my eyelids
They flash as memories and regrets
I can see them right now
On the Page as I write
Yelling and screaming at me to MOVE
They flash quickly and sometimes slowly
And they make me as jumpy as all hell
They make me late and they make me sit and stare in the mirror
They make me hold my breath
And breathe uncontrollably
All at once
