I wonder where you are, at this midnight hour. Are you still wide awake? Or in the company of somebody else? Flashbacks of gloomy, dreary nights made bright by your loving presence had suddenly flooded me, this tide of emotions, I can’t stop. My midnights before were bliss, whenever I spent it with you. Do you remember how we looked up in the sky, and watched the clouds as they drifted by? Midnights filled with love, I miss the way you talked to me Your touches filled with gentleness that comes with loving promises of forever. My heart was empty, but why did it weigh me down so much? I'd rather live in an illusion with you, than stay in this cruel reality without you by my side. And here I am, counting the stars alone, with teary eyes, and a shattered heart.
