Waves crash over my heart Pain comes in manageable forms Pain of hunger Pain of loss Pain of hurt The tides twist us all Making the forms shift and distort Unmanageable Drowning in sorrow The waves ebb and flow Tied to my pain Release the ropes that bind Freedom pulses from my veins Rivers of crimson Run red Run clean Darkness overcomes Peace
