the dress was low cut
a kind of pinkish colour
no sleeves
and about knee length
(less sitting )
yes it makes you
extra special

do you know

it cost me?
she asked
he studied her
how she crossed her legs
how the legs were slim
but not thin
not stick-like legs
no idea
he said
she told him
and he said
that much?
what's it made from
pure silk?
she laughed
no but it was designed by
and she said
the designer's name
but it's good though
isn't it?

and he noticed
the outline of her bra
through the dress
kind of bluey white
he thought
yes
he said smiling
it's very good
she smiled and sipped
her cappuccino
and he sipped his latte
hoping he'd done enough
for a good deal
at the end of his day.
