I've held onto your promise that you will never let me go But as the wind blows That promise started to fade And I was going back to the start I was afraid To trust and give it my all And in the end be facing a wall You did hurt me And my love for you is starting to flee But it helped me to see myself in a new perspective In a way that it helped me to be more reflective So I'll thank you for helping me create This ill-destined fate
