I know it now There is no time to think about the past I know someone needs my apology Though we may never meet again, still Everything they need is in my conscience Because the stars are always waiting for me I finally came around But I pushed myself too far I wonder why it all had to happen that way I was trying to be what I knew was right, still It’s what I once was and what I want to be Because the moon will always talk to me I still recognize myself I never did learn how to relax Every conversation was like a movie The ending was never like I planned, still There’s nothing inside that’s changed Because the sun will always rise for me I knew it as a child But it took so long to believe in it I used to think about it underwater I liked the quiet sounds of calm, still I’m the same person I’ve always wanted to be Because the only heart I know is inside of me
