You are the Moon and my heart is the tide. Constantly pushing and pulling. This back and forth, frothing and crashing turbulent wave cycle, it's exhausting. I cling to the bow of this ship, hoping the calm between stretches longer this time. Why couldn't I have fallen in love with a placid river?
