Tree split right down the middle Between grey-black storm clouds And a yellow lush meadow Blame it on the lightning But you should know better Blame it on the fact that The roots needed to get wetter But we all know the division Was caused by the incision Of curiosity in paradise And a clock with a nasty vice *I set the two earth candles on the mantle without a care Then placed Saturn in between with a Japanese flair Unintentional, but I was setting myself a trap We're all puppets basking in the orange-glow aftermath*
