I am building a river of grief
Raging waters red run through me
Sorrow fills my beings
Sending me into an ocean of despair
But I am served well by the darkness there
Currents of electric and liquid pain
Drive my poet brain
Allowing me to walk in and out
To feel what most would not dare
To dream about
I am drowning
Wet with life
But to write what I write
I must feel it all
And it feels soooooo deep
