Will you rest your head on me as you wake? Will you hold my hand and walk? Will you whisper in my ear and giggle? I breathe a sigh when I’m near you. Could I hold you and speak with my eyes? Could I wrap you in my arms and know you are mine? Could I kiss the nape of your neck and thrill you? I breathe a sigh when I’m near you. Never will deny a touch or word with you Never wanting time to pass without you Never wanting for another’s smile but yours I breathe a sigh when I’m near you. I know your love is mine to have and hold I hear you sing the song to my heart I see the beauty of our lasting love, even in silence. I breathe a sigh when I’m near you.

Love’s Breath

Never will deny a touch or word with you Never wanting time to pass without you Never wanting for another’s smile but yours I breathe a sigh when I’m near you.
