I adore you, But I don't know what you're about. I dream of you, Bon reves, cheri. When you asked me, A glimmer of relief. Exactly what I was talking about; I thought it might be a cruel hoax. I fell so hard, You knocked me down. The forbidden romance, Tender sentiments hidden all around. He made me smile. A tired life, now shaken. No longer in denial, We've had our run. A vulnerable heart lies broken. I can't believe it's true. Is there nothing unspoken? In three frantic words, I've lost you. I can't quite see right now, But I'm compelled to write. I lie down, and feel you pull me, Into the deepest, darkest night. You draw me in, Everything leads to you. I breathe, (breathing begins) I still miss you. You turned. A summer lost, A winter learned. At what cost?
