As the earth starts quaking the trees start shaking Leaves tremble down in the harsh breeze How terrifying is the merciless ease The house is coming down with a smack All the windows begin to crack Animals run about in a scurry The humans follow out in a hurry Your shallow thoughts reach for all that's inside Your tremulous feet move forward leaving behind all pride A loved one grabs you and holds you down They say take notice of what's around The registration of the scene racks your brain bringing about a searing pain You fall to your knees Broken, you plead Your entire body is filled with ache And suddenly, your dreams ends and you're awake.

Taking a spin with my childhood rhymes.
