How much do you take Before you break What's a good time to quit When your heart takes a hit Should you try to withstand The issues at hand Do you fly in the face Of feelings that disgrace The love that you knew When turned into spew By lies and deceit It takes quite a feat And can you discard The hurt that's so hard And just  cause you do Can you see it through And never regret That you'd ever met The one that you trusted Such love that you mustered And let your guard down Like you were a clown Then without any sign Things stop being fine Like being awoken To find your heart broken With no indication And without explanation What you thought was forever In fact is now never

A lesson in love
How much do you take Before you break What's a good time to quit When your heart takes a hit Should you try to withstand The issues at hand Do you fly in the face Of feelings that disgrace The love that you knew When turned into spew By lies and deceit It takes quite a feat And can you discard The hurt that's so hard And just  cause you do Can you see it through And never regret That you'd ever met The one that you trusted Such love that you mustered And let your guard down Like you were a clown Then without any sign Things stop being fine Like being awoken To find your heart broken With no indication And without explanation What you thought was forever In fact is now never
