Many people don't seem to care
What is happening to our country
It's like we are on a ship
And there is a small hole
People ignore it

Soon there is another
More water coming in
The people would rather play cards and relax
I tell them

We don't get another
This is our nation
Yet people are oblivious

Well this ship just isn't seaworthy anymore
