In the dark, cold night
I see shining in the distance a bright light
My dark heart craving for that light
To shine on me for a bit
If only I could stretch out and reach it
Oh, that light shining so brightly,
Craving to be touched
As I go out to reach it, it's gone!
Everything I want vanishes into the dark cold night,
Never to be seen again
