A day was blessed With leaves so green Yet also cursed With air to breathe Somehow it was filled With poison they call        gasoline As what you did To my lungs so fragile When it rained Pouring down agile Holding light seeds Filling my insides with        soil Time flew past From then they grew The beauty would last And for a moment I knew Carbon was all I could gasp Finally realizing the odd        renew As a plant, I can take, But water I lack. When tears pour down, It says Zeus did reign.

Less Human, More Plant
A day was blessed With leaves so green Yet also cursed With air to breathe Somehow it was filled With poison they call        gasoline As what you did To my lungs so fragile When it rained Pouring down agile Holding light seeds Filling my insides with        soil Time flew past From then they grew The beauty would last And for a moment I knew Carbon was all I could gasp Finally realizing the odd        renew As a plant, I can take, But water I lack. When tears pour down, It says Zeus did reign.
