The serpent wraps itself tightly around my neck yearning for the flesh it hasn’t tasted for a long time ago. And as its fangs sink deeper into my skin, the pain fades away and I would feel nothing but the venom rushing through my veins searching for the reason why I am in distress – or is it me who is looking for it?

Morphine
The serpent wraps itself tightly around my neck yearning for the flesh it hasn’t tasted for a long time ago. And as its fangs sink deeper into my skin, the pain fades away and I would feel nothing but the venom rushing through my veins searching for the reason why I am in distress – or is it me who is looking for it?
You are my morphine.
