bitter cold wind to the core death of all living things the tree grows bare, the flower rots the world is ugly and she is lost in a world of dull gray hue the slushy snow the dripping rain the overwhelming pain winter turned her soul cold as the ice upon the trees yet the oncoming breeze of potential spring keeps her from going insane
