Oh silence, Such a familiar face, I know you so well. Deja vu gusts through my hair as I admire your beautiful red pedals. My attraction to you leaves me with pricked fingers without end, But I cannot say I don’t like it. So why do I keep coming back? Oh uncertainty, Where have you been? We talk by the fire exchanging fond memories Sipping bitter liquor that brings back illusions of better days Despite the war in my mind, I am at peace. I know of nothing else. You can tell them I’m crazy, they’ll know I’m not the only one.
