Late Always too late. When they finally notice, you are already gone. They talk until their voices are sore, and you are down once again. They don't notice you are back up, until you obliterate the world, or rather, their world. And when they try to repent for their sins against you, you have gone deaf. When they try to show you how sorry they are, you have gone blind. When they try to touch you in fake sentiment, you suddenly become paralyzed. When they ask your forgiveness, you become a mute. They deserve your ignorance. They earned the right. It was by their own choices. So when they come to you, your heart goes cold, and you turn around and walk away.
