So people you once knew, say hello on this day,
Just a reminder that you exist, as sad as it is.
But you want one message more than others,
I left the silence because maybe just maybe,
Today is the day ... we might talk again.
Effort was attempted, but mistiming by both
But I'm left with where was my message?
I didn't want silence today, Is this a sign?
I say I'm ready to give it a rest, but we all know,
Within a heart beat I would want us together,
Maybe you genuinely don't care.
