Still, you’re the one for me I got to know you In these numbered days I got familiar with your touch In the matter of seconds Still, you’re the one for me Every time you wrapped your arms around my waist And you held me tight Planted soft kisses upon my neck A sigh of content Still, you’re the one for me Struck me with hands I once cradled Spoke to me in your honeysuckle voice With words of hatred I don’t know where I went wrong Still, you’re the one for me
