I guess i think you’re kind of great
Because you’re funny and outgoing
and not afraid to make a scene
but when you sit down and stare into space,
you pour out your thoughts and theories
about the world and the universe
I don’t quite understand why you choose
to hide that part of you from everyone
Maybe you’re afraid to let everyone know
that deep down, you have a lot of things to say
Maybe you’d rather everyone see the part of you
that’s always smiling and having fun
But for me, i’d rather see the part of you
that isn’t afraid to pour their feelings out
and chooses to talk about the many ways
people can fix society and the world
I hope one day i can sit down next you
with our feet on the coffee table
and talk about the galaxy of things
people are afraid to talk about
