Time
something everyone has;
yet from me, it hides.
It's definitely not on my side.
Desire
means to long for immensely.
However great my desire to write,
time made its reach far out of sight.
Determination
to do what I thought I couldn't do,
led me to pick up and to scribe;
Commanding time to become an ally
If Not Now... When?
was the question I asked myself.
Since I had no valid excuse
the solution came revealing the truth.
Create
time and space to achieve
my determination and desire
of crafting poetry that inspires.
Leaving a legacy that will surely last.
