To watch their faces change From horror to still frame The eggman never had the guts But I am the Walrus And I ate all the baby seals Who are you? She asked with a flirting smile And I said I am your ghost I am all you want to forget And I won't let you do that An observer is anyone That can watch frogs In their natural habitat But the greatest poets picked them Out of the water and squeezed Someone once said to me Pain is reality But reality is not just pain Because if it is We'd all be full of shotgun holes Insomnia is just loneliness Reaching out across the room To hold any ghosts that might be lingering And the ever extending arm Never gets closer to anything
