thinking it was just
petty little fights

Saying things like
"I would die if you ever left me"

And hey,
months ago I was naive
and stupid
and thought maybe that was true
But you said
the nastiest things to me
Making me feel worse than I did
without you
Telling me
No one else would ever "stick around"
Telling me
I need help
I ended it
because I waited for an
apology
that never came
And maybe it's for the
best
Because I was never one for
forgiving
