A fuzzy mind from restless sleep No respite from counting sheep Ideas swirling like alphabet soup Words and letters can't regroup Thick and mirky, a wonderous haze Eyes closed tight against the maze Of thoughts and dreams not yet dreamed Of future worries not yet deemed Less important than unattainable sleep And no respite from counting sheep.

Sleepless
A fuzzy mind from restless sleep No respite from counting sheep Ideas swirling like alphabet soup Words and letters can't regroup Thick and mirky, a wonderous haze Eyes closed tight against the maze Of thoughts and dreams not yet dreamed Of future worries not yet deemed Less important than unattainable sleep And no respite from counting sheep.
