Nightmares hide from the afterburner of the Sun's yellow exhaust . Shooting stars burn bright but only by the seconds last . The full moon shines by the grace of the sun's second hand light . So she too may be second handed light that lasts but seconds before becoming dusk's next nightmare without the angelic eyes .

This was a beautiful write. You didn't really go for a whole lot of rhymes, though. Then and again, I suppose different poems with different feels should have different feels to help with being distinguished
