I have all this scratching
and leaking
at the edges of my mind
that I know I can’t fight off
forever.
Sometimes people lose
their subconscious drive to try
all at once
in one day
and just go crazy,
but then I think
my most alluring thought
of all
is that I can't wait
for it to happen
to me.
