Roses betrothed to her bedside
They cling to one another for existence
Wilted blossoms-they are
Though dreary
Bowing flowers ring out melodies of sorrow
Enchanting aromas dance through the air
Her heart keeps time
Both beautys morn for the other
Black tears slip though cupped hands
Stripped of purpose-peddels drop
In the end every rose fades...
Call her rose tonight
