A shattered cry in the distance, A face with a forgotten smile. The child who lost her brilliance, Hides alone in the night. Tell me why is it everytime, That your past is revived Silence can be heard, And you weep alone overnight. Are these dark suspended memories, Worth losing that angelic smile? Is this wrath on past centuries, An excuse to live a perfect lie? Because the present is yours to take, Because when you smile the whole world shine, Do not stumble on a past so stale, But transcend reality and you’ll be just fine.

A Smile in the Dark
A shattered cry in the distance, A face with a forgotten smile. The child who lost her brilliance, Hides alone in the night. Tell me why is it everytime, That your past is revived Silence can be heard, And you weep alone overnight. Are these dark suspended memories, Worth losing that angelic smile? Is this wrath on past centuries, An excuse to live a perfect lie? Because the present is yours to take, Because when you smile the whole world shine, Do not stumble on a past so stale, But transcend reality and you’ll be just fine.
