As he whispers his undying love Over and over His colorful eyes penetrate my soul And I am taken back to the memories Of when we first met Oh, how I hated him! But slowly and surely, He broke through the walls of my heart. Over and over, I tried to tell myself That I didn't hear The rush of butterflies in my stomach Whenever he was near And that I didn't feel The energizing sparks Whenever our skin collided As time went on, Over and over, Our chance encounters proved me wrong, because indeed Each time I laid my eyes on him, I fell deeper and deeper in love with him, Over and over and over again.
