She stood there, Her hands clutching the note explaining it all. Why she was sorry Why she did it Why she didn't want anyone to cry She stood there, The wind howling at her back Pushing her hair in her face Pushing her shirt against her body Pushing her one step closer to the edge She stood there, Thinking about her options Was she to jump to her death Was she to leave people who cared Was she to just let it all go She stood there, Battling with her options But instead of deciding She tore herself apart Her emotions taking over her body and mind And instead of jumping She fell

To Jump or Not to Jump
She stood there, Her hands clutching the note explaining it all. Why she was sorry Why she did it Why she didn't want anyone to cry She stood there, The wind howling at her back Pushing her hair in her face Pushing her shirt against her body Pushing her one step closer to the edge She stood there, Thinking about her options Was she to jump to her death Was she to leave people who cared Was she to just let it all go She stood there, Battling with her options But instead of deciding She tore herself apart Her emotions taking over her body and mind And instead of jumping She fell
