The sober guest scratches at the door, Pretends he’s known here from before, Coils 'round the threshold, finds a spot, And settles in a corner of the plot. ** Chorus: ** Sober, sober guest, Sitting with us yet again. Sober guest, sober guest, Looking like a bone, my friend. He sits on the chair just like a snake, Not a **** drop will he take, Just sniffling silently through his nose, Soberly hissing as he goes. ** Chorus: ** Sober, sober guest, Sitting with us yet again. Sober guest, sober guest, Looking like a bone, my friend. Time fades away into the haze, Rivers sink into the abyss's maze, But wordlessly he sits and stays, Speaking in his sober ways.

The Sober Guest
