Las Vegas
May I give you one last gaze May I tell you how it actually tastes Don’t wonder around I’ll let you know exactly how With the one quiet look With that black hole in the eye That says all I need to describe — Were you a person or maybe you’re not But you’re afraid of it a lot That glance of death, that coming stare That cold resemblance of your despair You’re cursed now, you are As a ******* liquid **** you are.

Last Goodbye
Like a rat you run, far off to woe, Didn’t say goodbye — I don’t care, though. Why play the human role for show, To seem more sweet, more charming, though? You’re a rat, a beast — that’s how it goes, That’s how you were born, that’s how it flows. Sorrow’s useless to you now, I know — Like a rat, you squeak and scurry below.

Like a Rat
My little warm bundle of fur, You are all that exists, pure and sure, You are my life and my death's only cure. When I was just a small child, Only the cat’s love was mild. He always answered my call, Purring and soothing it all. Do I have a soul to keep? It lives inside the cat so deep. My parents were pieces of **** But the cat loved me through it, Never stopping for a bit. Now I am grown, and look here, I have my sweet cat so near, Together we eat and we sleep, And thank God for this joy that we keep. I love my cat, only I, Without him, I’d wither and die.

My little heart
When memories of T-Pain fade, And how he sang without an aid, I lean into that small pink cloud That floats above the noisy crowd. The air is stuffy, warm, and high, With no one else but you and I. No logic here, no static rules, No colder truths or rigid schools. It’s only us, it’s you and me, Could we become? Or could it be? The weight of days began to fall, The heavy cost of knowing all. It tumbled down beneath our shroud, Safe underneath this drifting cloud, Where you and me, we are, are we?

Pink Cloud
Las Vegas burns. A taxi ride. The midnight streets. I’m on my way. The neon flashes right outside, To stir me up and spark a phrase. The driver shares the vibe I feel, As if we share a hidden bond. We smile behind the steering wheel, And casually we drift along. A thousand times we’ve walked this track, A thousand times we’ve talked before. But as the taxi turned its back, The clock hand flicked, and nothing more. My weary spirit slipped away, Grown silent, empty, cold, and numb. It had no further words to say, And all my consciousness was gone. As if the point of moving on, Had vanished halfway down the line— This violence of the driven soul To rush and chase the ghost of time. It left the car for five short minutes, Just walked away and disappeared. A thousand rides, but something in it Was completely new and strange and weird. The driver caught that heavy sigh, A mirror to his own despair. He dropped his mask, he closed his mouth, And left his spirit hanging there. Two hollow souls beneath the sky, We let the heavy silence breed. An empty, mechanical machine, Was all that drove us down the street. My spirit came back late at night, It slept it off, it turned around. A year has passed, but in my mind, That lonely evening can be found. The spirit fights, it wants to break, We do not want to chase the light. We want to leave, the path to take, Like in that Vegas cab that night.

Uber
The sober guest scratches at the door, Pretends he’s known here from before, Coils 'round the threshold, finds a spot, And settles in a corner of the plot. ** Chorus: ** Sober, sober guest, Sitting with us yet again. Sober guest, sober guest, Looking like a bone, my friend. He sits on the chair just like a snake, Not a **** drop will he take, Just sniffling silently through his nose, Soberly hissing as he goes. ** Chorus: ** Sober, sober guest, Sitting with us yet again. Sober guest, sober guest, Looking like a bone, my friend. Time fades away into the haze, Rivers sink into the abyss's maze, But wordlessly he sits and stays, Speaking in his sober ways.

The Sober Guest
In the dark, and quiet night, The thoughts finally drift to a rest, And demons emerge, put to the test. One can create, savor the sight, or simply cease to decide. In the dark, and quiet night, Shadowed thoughts emerge from the gloom, To watch the soul’s curves in the hollowed room. The brain says "Enough," but the spirit is thin— It whispers "I miss you" from deep under skin. In the dark, and quiet night, The soul is louder than the common cry, Louder than blood soaked in a lie, Louder than time, than the flesh, than the crowd. In the dark, and quiet night.
