"But you have so many people who care" Yes, yes.. Actually, yes I know. But only so many communicate it well. A shame.. I see the conflict here in the poem. You KNOW they're there. Yet they're just not there at the time it all goes nuts in your head. The time at night where it's intense. The time where you're in deep need of healing.

I could feel the gentle nature of this poem. It was restrained and polite. A reassurance to those who hear your sufferings. However.. The end of each stanza directly battles the beginning with the severe and harsh sounding emotional distress.. 

Splendid job here. I'd love to see some violent metaphors used in your next writing!

Reading is a great companion. You may feel alone but others feel this and may not articulate it. Life seems all-encompassing at 17--that does not necessarily evaporate but you do get a wider perspective with each passing day.

Have you ever thought of writing a play?  Join a successful little theatre group, see what they do, make notes.  You might learn how to speak WITH people.  It took me a long time to learn and understand that.  On your own you're great, but if you learn how to be alluring plus great; you'll have what you want.

While I was waiting for my Bae last night, A deep depression settled in, digging its claws into my core, and I cried. this poem captured the feeling perfectly. I knew that he loved me, that he was there, but I didn't feel it. He did show up (at my window, of course), and we talked for hours. It was five AM before he left. The point of saying this is that in a lot of cases, this feeling may go away when the people that care are near you. Thank you for sharing.
