Exactly. One reason I appreciate Cavafy is that he often writes about marginalized or forgotten historical figures.

Each has their own story to tell. No neutral party.

So true! It should be called &#8216;history of_____&#8217;, just to make it clear that we&#8217;re only seeing one side of the coin.
